Working at school.... loving it!!

 I am back at school and enjoying being with the kids.  Today was a great day.  The weather is shaping up, the kids were in wonderful spirits and the day was great!!  I hope everyone enjoyed it.  

I work with special needs kids. At this school, I am working with an autistic boy who is non verbal.  He can say some words but usually he points at what he wants or says what he wants with one word.  He wasn't at school today and I missed him.  I worked with some other slow learners today.  It was fun and I enjoyed it.

Years later.... I forgot about my blog!!

      I seriously forgot about my blog.  I am back here as I decided I might try to revive it.  I have been away as my family has grown up.  I have 2 teenager sons.  The eldest is Luke and he is in the midst of finishing grade 12.  He is trying to decide what to do after high school.  He is thinking of being an athletic trainer.  He is still on the fence.  Hopefully, he'll decide soon!  My youngest is Andrew and he is in grade 7.  He is still quite immature but fun kid!  I am still married to my love, Paul Ashley!  

     We have all probably had quite a whirlwind of a year!! This COVID thing keeps ruining our livelihood!  I got sick with COVID this past Christmas. Boy was it a rude awakening!  It was awful!  Sleeping for 10 days straight sounds good but when sick with COVID it is horrible.  I was so weak and so sick.  I had it for a good 3 weeks.  So happy I survived and am able to talk about it.  

      I am now an EA (Educational Assistant) and I work as one at the Toronto Catholic District School Board.  I work with special needs children that have a hard time learning.  It's a lot of fun but lots of hard work.  I really can say that teachers are hard workers.  I studied the EA program at Sheridan College and learned a lot there.  My first year as an EA was last year.  Working during the pandemic was quite the feat!  I have a new respect for teachers and the hard work they do! During COVID, I decided I wanted to start a business.  It is an online store and I started it a couple of months ago.  That is when I decided I would try to revive my blog!  If you have a chance, take a look at my site and send me a DM letting me know what you think!!  www.marketindreglory.store  

I am back to posting on my blog!  I am so sorry, it's been years since I have written anything!  I have made so many changes in my life  I am now a mom who works part time from home. I am also a student at Sheridan college in Oakville, ON Canada.  I am studying to be an Educational Support teacher.  I am loving it right now! It's a lot of work, but really worth it!

I am looking to learn about children and education.  I decided that would be better for me and our family as I will be able to work in the school system.  I love kids and love to make a difference for families!

I encourage all you out there to go back to school, if you can!  I love it and looking forward to the next couple of years!  Afterwards, I would like to finish my degree so it may take a while, but educating myself is a great thing!!

it's been several months!

sorry it has been several months... My family is doing well. Still working from home, trying to make ends meet. I am now doing 4 jobs... 3 which are from home and another one is with my church. I have resigned however I think it is good as I wasn't attending church because I was working so I miss hearing about the Word. I also work for Pizza Pizza (from home), I work at my son's school and love it! The fourth job is I do business to business telemarketing from home. That is tough!! I need to find something else to do, as it can get tiring hearing not interested and hang up!!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the weather. It is getting warmer, slightly!! I miss the warm weather. I hope that mother nature brings us more sun and warmth soon!!

Happy New Year!!!

I hope everyone has a great new year! I am back this year and I am working. I am not online as much as I used to be. I am still trying to figure things out. I have been pondering and thinking what should I do? I really want to be at home with the kids but I know life says that we need money to survive. Yes, We do need money and it is hard to live a great, wonderful life without money. I also married my husband because I love him, not because he is wealthy! Well, certainly is not wealthy but he is a good person who loves his family! So, now I decided that I will try to work from home by working for a lady who has a company that does business to business telemarketing and some other odd jobs. I am still trying to get a job in a restaurant so that I can make an hourly wage and tips! We'll see how it goes!
